No psychobabble or stereotypes here.
Instead, we lead with humor, stories, clinical
evidence, and personal experience. We’ll
help determine your goals, clarify what’s
working and what’s not, and then game plan
options based on what you can and can’t
control.

Spouses
Frankly, spouses don’t get enough credit for
putting their aspirations on hold for their
husbands/wives – or the anxiety of waiting
out deployments. For all intent and purposes,
they’re in the military, too – just not getting
paid for it. It can be lonely and sometimes
the sacrifices and demands exceed coping
skills. For a better night’s sleep, call us.

Marriage is exhausting enough without
bringing the Army into it. Frequent periods
of separation, celibacy, and uncertainty are
often punctuated by “real life” stressors
that civilians can’t even imagine. We help
couples strengthen their communications
and problem-solving skills, break bad habits,
build empathy, reconcile hard feelings,
restore trust, and balance needs.
Because our counselors are also veterans,
we speak your language and understand the
pride of having served. We also know the
transition into the civilian world can range
from outstanding to ridiculous. If you’re
having problems being seen somewhere
else, please know that our commitment to
you will be very personal, consistent, and
convenient to your schedule.
